Remove the Factory Switch Cover
Pull down on the passenger side of the cover to free the snap-fit connections.

Slide the cover towards the passenger side to remove the retaining clip.

Remove the Sunroof Switch
Unscrew the 2 screws holding the switch mounting bracket. Keep the 2 screws.

Disconnect the switch connector. This can be tricky to do, since it’s back up under the headliner a bit. A small screwdriver can help depress the clip to release the switch.

Remove the Lockout Switch
Unscrew the 3 screws holding the sunroof switch and cover to the mounting bracket.

Set aside the old cover and mounting bracket. These will not be needed. Keep the 3 screws.

With the cover removed, inspect the lockout switch. This one was already broken and missing some pieces.

Remove the lockout switch and accompanying plastic slide and spring, if present.

Install the Switch Mounting Bracket
Slide the cable through the new switch mounting bracket and reinstall the 3 screws.

Install the Secondary Mounting Bracket
Position the secondary mounting bracket in the 2 sockets on the back of the new switch cover on the T-track side.

On the face of the switch cover, slide in 2 of the M3x16 socket head screws, and screw them in with a 2.5mm hex key just enough to grab the nuts.

The secondary mounting bracket should be quite loose but should not detach.

Install the Switch in the Vehicle
Reconnect the switch connector, then reinstall the 2 screws in the mounting bracket.

Install the Switch Cover in the Vehicle
Pressing up on the driver-side screw closest to you, slide the secondary mounting bracket to the rear driver side of the headliner opening.

Pressing up on the driver-side screw furthest from you, rotate the switch cover clockwise, ensuring the secondary mounting bracket goes above the headliner on the windshield side.

Press the passenger side up, aligning the switch opening with the switch. You should feel the posts on the mounting bracket go into the sockets on the switch cover.

Install and firmly tighten the remaining 2 M3x16 socket head screws in the passenger-side holes with a 2.5mm hex key.

Finish by firmly tightening the 2 M3x16 socket head screws on the driver side.

Congratulations! Your new switch cover is now installed and ready for accessories!
